We are proud to present two one act comedies – the first, 'Grave Concerns' by our own Craig Robb (who will also direct) and the second an hilarious short comedy entitled 'Last Tango in Little Grimley', written by David Tristram and directed by Pauline Cornter.
By way of a change, Cheriton Players are presenting a double bill of comedies under the heading of Two Funny By Half: the first, Grave Concerns, takes a light hearted laugh at the serious business of life and death. Mark is on a family holiday in a villa by a beautiful Italian lake but learns something that could really dampen the mood. Can he avoid disaster by replaying the past? Sometimes, saving a life can be murder… with amusing and unexpected consequences.
In complete contrast, over in Little Grimley, membership of the local amateur drama society has dwindled to four. Time for dramatic action. There’s only one thing that sells tickets these days – sex. But how will the locals react to the promise of a sizzling sex comedy? All is revealed in Last Tango in Little Grimley, this fast-paced comedy of an am-dram group in trouble.
Tickets go on sale on September 1st, so why not get yours early and we’ll see you in November. Come and enjoy a Jude’s ice cream or a drink from our licensed bar too!
Tickets will be priced £13 from our usual box office – watch this space for updates.
