Curtain Call Awards 2013
We are more than a little chuffed to have received no less than five nominations for the 2013 Curtain Call Awards, a BAFTA/Oscar style award ceremony that runs every year and is organised by the Daily Echo. Full details can be found on the Echo website but the nominations are as follows:
Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy or Comic Drama:
David Cradduck, Uncle Harvey in Season’s Greetings. “Outstanding comic timing and delivery.”
David Baldwin, Male Narrator in A Bolt From The Blue. “Painted beautiful pictures with his story-telling.”
Mike Cornter, Farmer/Dr Rogers/Martin in A Bolt From The Blue. “Wonderful characterisation and accents in various guises.”
Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Comic Drama:
Pauline Cornter, Mary Jones/receptionist/nurse/Kirsty in A Bolt From The Blue. “Wonderful characterisation and accents in various guises.”
Best Director of a Comedy or Comic Drama:
Barbara Large, Season’s Greetings. “A first-rate romp through the festive period.”
The winners will be announced at the end of January 2014 and we will post news up then!
